I propose to meet at the metro station of kraainem, which is pretty close to the ring (according to the mighty google maps its just taking the exit and keep going straight ahead, which should be doable without GPS). It should also be fine for Maarten I guess, he stops at bxl centraal and can just take the metro, which should take 15min max.

According to google maps, that would add almost 60 km to my itinerary, coming from Ghent.
As far as I can tell, the Metrostations which would be most convenient from my point of of view, would be those in Anderlecht (Ceria/Coovi, La Roue/Het Rad, Bizet).

Ceria c'est le mieux, à mon avis, selon google maps.

A small report:

I went with Tom (Nirves) and Johan from Ghent, MoTo and Maarten Knaepen. Got up at 6:30 in order to find a bakery thats open (there werent any) and meet at 8:00 somewhere in Anderlecht. After an uneventful drive (besides the local beauty queen somewhere in wallonia) we arrived at 10:29, meaning we had plenty of time to register. The player meeting was 45min later. This is the 75 that I sleeved up:

I do not have too much experience with Storm (yet), but it's a deck I enjoy playing. I'll try to reconstruct my games based on my notes, but I dont have that much to work with

R1: Rug delver
G1: I duress and therapy his countermagic away while a delver is beating me down. I am down to 4 life, and have a hand with a basic land, a fetch, a probe, some rituals and infernal. I know all but 1 card in my opponent's hand
I have 2 possible lines where I either go basic land into the typical storm dance, but dont have protection backup. A second line involves probe that I cast for 2 life, but then I can cast a therapy and make sure I win. This line loses to a topdecked bolt. I go fetch, crack, and he drew a bolt. A good start of the day

In/Out: xantid swarm, carpet of flowers, trop, ad nauseam / scalding tarn, cabal ritual, some discard, etw
G2 and G3: Similar to G1, except this time I killed him in time. In G3 he misplayed a clique by playing it in his main phase, instead of doing that after my draw step. Hence, I drew the card I needed and killed him.

Round2:
G1: I am not sure what my opponent is actually playing. I get to see a hand with 2x spell snare, thought scour, ponder, fow x2 and grim lavamancer. I think some UR delver deck that drew too many counters. He also had chain lightnings, price of progress, etc. But he also had green mana, and later (read G2) I got to see some goyfs. His hand is pure counterspells, and he only has a single lavamancer to slowly burn me down. I dont draw enough disruption before he can kill me. I make one mistake here, where I preordain and see 2 infernal tutors and have a therapy in hand. I bottom 1 of the tutors, draw the other one. I should have kept both, and used one to find another therapy. Oh wel.
G2: 14 goblins T2 is apparently enough.
G3: Once again a hand with pierce, flusterstorm etc. while a delver is beating me down is enough to kill me.

R3:
G1: I probe my opponent and see bolt x2, bloodbraid elf and a shardless agent. He also has a suspended ancestral vision. Some weird jund that splashes blue, but I honestly have no clue what he was playing. I kill him T3 before his ancestral resolves.
G2: He has pyrostatic pillar, and I boarded 2x chain of vapors in (not knowing what to expect). I dont find them in time. Once again I made a mistake here: I am fairly sure I had a line where I cast a minimum of rituals, go for infernal tutor -> infernal tutor -> PiF. Infernal tutor -> chain of vapor to bounce pillar, and then flashback all the rituals and the other tutor to kill him. But I am not sure whether I actually had enough life to do this.
G3: See a hand without counters and kill him.

2-1

R4: UW Countertop, my best matchup  
G1: I get jacelocked before being able to go off and lose.
G2: Probably the best game of this day. I strip away some of his counters, while he pressures me with a clique. The turn before I can go off he casts counterbalance after a brainstorm, so he knows what is on top, but is tapped out. I probe him and he has disenchant and detention sphere. I chain several rituals (dark and cabal), and he let them all resolve. I play LED which also resolves. I play infernal tutor and he reveals a 2 on top. I had PiF in my graveyard, so I cast that one and ritual some more. After 3 cantrips that were in my GY I find the tendrils to kill him.
G3: Not much to say, counterbalance + top kills me. I dont find my abrupt decay (and even if I did he still had enough counters in hand).

2-2

R5: Dredge. Justice, as I have played the deck for 1 year.
G1: He goes land putrid imp. I go land, cantrip. He discard a troll, dredges, discards troll again, coliseum, dredges even more, reveals some narcos + 3x therapy + dread return + grisel. I scoop 'em up.
G2: I duress him t1, taking away his careful study. He kept a very sketchy hand with lands, led, but no dredger (imo he should have mulliganed). I kill him before he draws out of it.
G3: He is on the slowdredges plan after unmasking me. He has 2 narcos in play and a single imp in the yard. I can go for ad nauseam with 1 floating, which I do, not wanting to risk him dredging the nuts. Ad nauseam gets there.

3-2

R6: BUG
G1: mull to 5 and get liliana locked.
G2 and G3: notes are a bit fuzzy here. I win G2. G3 I get locked under shamans, liliana, jace, thoughtseize and hymns. I did not win this one.

3-3

R7: Hypergenesis
G1: I duress him and I see 1x blightsteel, 2x emrakul, 1x warstorm surge, 1x elvish spirit guide and FoW. I really have no clue what my opponent is playing. I kill him while he does nothing but play lands. During siding he says 'either I cascade before you storm me, so I knew he was on hypergenesis'.

In: Therapy / Out: Preordain
G2: I duress him t1, seeing 2x ardent plea, hypergenesis, warstorm surge, inkwell leviathan. I take warstorm surge, and I therapy his 2x plea away on t2. One turn later he is dead.


So 4-3 in total, not enough to get prices.


In general:
The event was in a very nice hall. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced (50cl water for 50cent), sandwiches that were pretty good and my opponents were all very friendly. Special thanks to Nirves for driving us after spending his saturday at werchter and hardly getting any sleep.
Only downsides were the 45min delay before starting and the acoustics of the hall making it very hard to hear the HJ.

Je perds la dernière et finis donc à x-2-1. Je gagne un bon d'achat de 10 boules sur mkm (youhou!).
